Hope for the musically illiterate?
I’m trying out for chapel choir at my college today. People have always told me that I have a beautiful voice. Since I was very young I felt that my calling was to worship God through song. Now, I hear that I have to do “sight reading.” I mean I took piano for about a year and a half but I don’t think my ability to read music will parr up to my singing ability. Will this work to my advantage or disadvantage in my acceptance in the choir?
